The Band of Joes in association with Music Alive has put together an education program for at risk children throughout the Chicagoland area. The program takes the children on a trip through the Americas from New Orleans, LA. to Brazil. Numerous musical styles and corresponding cultural influences are demonstrated. The fifty minute show culminates in an exciting finale that usually leaves the children (and teachers) dancing and eager to learn more. For more information contact: Music Alive at (312) 573-8930.
